Joining their bodies and hands, the couple in this work symbolise the indivisible love between two people in a spiritual union. It is an elegant piece, with its flowing contours forming an intertwined symbol of infinity. 

Many of Wald’s artworks were modelled in the new material of fibreglass which perhaps allowed him to shape the pre-determined figures of his imagination.
