This Eastern European genre group was created during Herman Wald’s last period. Two Jews, are bent  towards each other in a passionately heated debate. The space between their circular arms is explosive. Its composition relates to other sculptures from this  period in which Herman Wald developed the circular movement from an  inner core, creating a sense of heightened vitality.
